Artist's Statement:
My artwork is about perception; seeing things differently, a combination of real objects yet unreal lines and colors, the softness of shapes and hard lines around and between them, unusual angles and details of common things that surround me, the simplicity of objects and the complexity of recreating them. I want my work to reflect my thoughtfulness and sense of order. For me, creating a picture is like putting a puzzle together – a process that requires different approaches to find the right combination. When completed it needs to work in harmony and evoke an aesthetically pleasing feeling of elegance.
